Vendor Information Session on Testing of Airborne Natural Gas Leak Detection Technologies
Teleconference
The U.S. EPA ETV Advanced Monitoring Systems Center, operated in cooperation with Battelle, and ETV Canada are planning joint verification testing of airborne natural gas leak detection technologies.  The test will involve field testing under a variety of conditions.  Test collaborators are being sought.  A teleconference will be conducted from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. EST, to present an outline of the test design to interested technology vendors.  Although the focus of the call is joint U.S./Canada verification test design, vendors interested in U.S.-only or Canada-only verification are also welcome and can be considered for verification.  Please contact Ken Cowen, Battelle, at (614) 424-5547 or cowenk@battelle.org, or Mona El Hallak, ETV Canada, at (905) 822-4133 ext. 239 or melhallak@etvcanada.ca, with questions or interest in participating on the teleconference by no later than Wednesday, July 15.

30th Symposium on Pesticide Formulations and Delivery Systems: Regulations and Innovation
Atlanta, GA

Hosted by the ASTM International Committee E35 on Pesticides and Alternative Control Agents, this symposium serves as a multidisciplinary forum for scientists, applicators, regulators and industry professionals to exchange information and learn about state-of-the-art products and practices.  Mike Kosusko and Faruque Khan, EPA, will represent the ETV ESTE project for Pesticide Drift Reduction Technologies and plan to present on “Development of the EPA/ETV Test Protocol for Pesticide Spray Drift Reduction Technology.”  For more information.

4th International ETV Forum, "ETV: Accelerating Technology Solutions to Climate Change"
Manila, Philippines

This Forum, hosted by the Philippines government, will serve as a venue for exchanging ideas and sharing experiences among participants on issues related to implementing an ETV program within the Philippines, and how this supports technology solutions to mitigate climate change in developing countries such as the Philippines. The Forum will be followed by a meeting of the International Working Group on Environmental Technology Verification (IWG-ETV).  U.S. ETV staff will help organize and present at both events.  Additional information on ETV international activities.
